Bedeschi 1250 t/h Continuous Barge Unloaders (CBU) installed in Indonesia. The challenge during the engineering phase, was to study a type of machine that must work wholly synchronized with the barges and consider the limited stability of the barges being on the water under the influence of the tides of that area.
These machines have been designed with the utmost flexibility in mind. The buckets can move in all directions, allowing for versatility during unloading operations. They are also equipped to bring the excavators inside the barge to collect the material when it remains on the corners, a feature that sets them apart. This unique design, typically manufactured as a portal type, is a county-level type. The machines also have a grizzly screen to discard gross material, further enhancing their efficiency.
